Riley's first bath at home! She tolerated it pretty well, and was SUPER fuzzy afterward!
Riley weighed in at 21 lbs at the vet today - and man, was it nice to be there for vaccinations, and not because she was sick! Riley's been doing great these last few weeks. She is sleeping through the night (but is up at 6 and wants to play!) She needs 2 walks daily, and can be left alone for 4-5 hours pretty reliably. We leave her in the kitchen when we're gone for longish times, and in her kennel if it's just an hour or two. House training is going pretty well, and I wish I could say the same about her on-leash behavior and chewing... but one thing at a time, right? We made the tough decision to postpone starting puppy class, because I will be at camp the next 3 weeks. Tom's parents will be helping us out with her, and it would be nearly impossible for Tom to pick her up in Plymouth and get her to Golden Valley by 6pm... we'll just have to deal with her puppy behavior as best we can until I'm back!
