Baby Nora

This post is only a month or so late... on May 16th my brother, Matt, and his wife Fran welcomed baby Nora Elizabeth Prekker to the world!

Look how much she's grown in 3 and a half weeks! She's a very happy baby, although she still seems to have her days and nights mixed up. It's great for auntie... who gets lots of cuddle time during the days, but not so much for mom and dad!

Erin is a great big sister! She likes to give Nora pats and cuddles, and when Nora cries, Erin will ask "What's my baby sister saying?"

I've gotten to spend more time than normal with Erin and Nora, because they're staying at my parents' house while they prepare for their move to Seattle in a few weeks. I'm loving all the extra time, and am in complete denial about their move. I guess I'll have to work on racking up those frequent flier miles!

In other news, the school year just ended for me, meaning I'm switching to full time camp mode! I was on the road up to Camp K within hours of saying goodbye to my students for the summer, in order to do a training for their summer staff. Starting this week I'll be in the camp office 2 days a week until we head up North in mid-July! Tom and I will head to Duluth and Lutsen this coming weekend to partake in the Grandma's marathon festivities. We're both running the half marathon, and then traveling up the shore to spend 2 nights in Lutsen to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary! Summer already seems to be going too fast - hopefully the weather will catch up, and mellow out at 75 degrees or so!
