Fall

Huck and Riley got chicken costumes for Halloween... Riley didn't like hers much, and Huck totally outgrew his before Halloween, so I don't think any of our Trick or Treaters actually saw the dogs with them on. But, both Huck and Ry decided they like all of the attention from the neighborhood kids that Halloween brings!
Huck has been spending more and more time with us in the living room, instead of being barricaded into the kitchen with baby gates. He does pretty well, other than his love for shoes, and tendency to shred anything made of paper. Riley's been tolerating him better and better, too. They wrestle and play pretty rough most of the time, but every once in a while they will both relax and just lay around in the same room. I hope there will be more of that in our future!
The many faces of Huck, our cute little guy!

Riley really lets her guard down when Huck is in the other room. Apparently, so does Tom...
when Huck is really tired, he gets super cuddly, and makes the cutest little noises... we call this being 'grunty'. He's only grunty maybe 5 percent of the time, but he's sure sweet when he is!
He can also be quite the little terror. One morning I got up for work to find that he had opened the closet and pulled out all the bags from the bottom 2 shelves. He looks so innocent...

 Happy Halloween!

Welcome, Ella Elizabeth Miller, our newest niece! She was born Wednesday, and she's pretty sweet! Hopefully we'll get to go visit her again soon!
my favorite tree at Silverwood park, near my parents' house. It's gorgeous year round, but especially in the Fall!
