Riley had another bout of illness this past week, which of course occurred during my absolute busiest week of the school year. I am in the middle of MCA testing and Wastebasket Revue, so I haven't been home one evening since Tuesday. Riley, whom we have started referring to as Marley, ate one of Tom's bike gloves early in the week, and proceeded to vomit it on my bed a few days later. We assumed that once she got it out she would be all better, but that was not the case. She made a GIANT mess in her kennel - which Tom had to clean up! We were worried that she might have something stuck, so we decided to bring her in the next day. Of course they did x-rays and bloodwork, and $410 later, we were told we had a totally healthy puppy! Apparently her body just rejected the bike glove, and upset her tummy. I think next time we'll wait a day or two before calling the vet!
