We brought Riley to the vet on Saturday thinking she just had a little ear infection... but nothing is simple with this dog... turns out she has either allergies or super sensitive skin that was all broken out in nasty scabby bumps. She also had a TOE infection... or paw infection, or something gross going on between her toes. She was sent home with 4 different meds, including medicated wipes for between her toes. In order for the medicine to work, they had to SHAVE her toes!!! Good thing I brought her entire breakfast to the vet in her treat bag, so with three of us holding her down, and me feeding her, it went ok. The best part of the foot wipes is that she isn't allowed to lick her feet when they've been wiped, so she needs a cone. What a freak show.
